Dress Up Days

Dress-up Days At the end of the weekend, we’ll award Best Dressed Team, only two players will win, so bring your A-game. Friday: Costume Day Go all out! Fridays at Racquet War are basically Halloween. Dress in your best matching costume with your partner and have fun with it. Saturday: College Day Rep your favorite college or college sports team! Sunday: Wimbledon Whites Classic all-white tennis looks inspired by Wimbledon tradition. Get creative, coordinate with your partner, and let’s see what you’ve got!

IMPORTANT INFO

We have a full field at Wild Dunes this weekend, and we’re excited to be able to guarantee every team a minimum of four matches over the three days. Friday: Everyone will play two matches as we begin with Waterfall play. Once the Waterfall matches are complete, teams will move into bracket play. Saturday: Women’s C will play two matches. All other divisions will play one match on Saturday. Sunday: Any team that played only one match on Saturday is guaranteed at least one additional match on Sunday, ensuring everyone reaches a minimum of four matches for the weekend. Teams that continue advancing through the main bracket will have the opportunity to play a fifth match in the finals. Therefore, once bracket play begins, it will follow a traditional elimination format. Teams that lose in the first round of bracket play will receive one additional match in the consolation round. After that, a loss concludes that team’s bracket play. With a completely full event, this format allows us to accommodate the entire field while still providing everyone with plenty of tennis throughout the weekend and guaranteeing every team at least four matches.
